A Vision for Every Course, A Roadmap for Every Student
In line with the decisions taken by the department board, the faculty member assignments for all courses in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th semesters were made with great care, taking into account the
🔹 faculty members' areas of expertise,
🔹 pedagogical experiences,
🔹 sectoral equivalents of the course content.
This process was not only considered as an academic obligation; it was also considered as part of a plan that supports the students' professional orientations and coincides with sectoral needs.
“We Are Planning the Future, Not a Course”
In the statement made after the meeting, department head Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı stated that the decisions taken were designed for the guidance, inspiration and equipment that students will need as they step into creative sectors, rather than a course schedule.
“Visual Communication Design education is not just about transferring technical knowledge. It is the responsibility of seeing the student’s potential, bringing them together with the right instructor who will guide them and carrying them from today to tomorrow. We worked with this vision.”
