This year, our faculty members, the expanded department board of the Visual Communication Design Department, which started accepting students for the first time, gathered for regular planning before the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

This meeting, where very important decisions were made, was held with the participation of all academic and administrative staff of our faculty, the Extended Regular Department Board of our Faculty, Visual Communication Design Department. At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on 15 (fifteen) items, and important decisions were made within the scope of the relevant items within the axis of pluralistic views with a focus on quality management.

In the agenda item "Course Distributions", some changes were made on the current draft course program by taking into account the savings measures and these changes were decided.
Within the scope of savings measures, our current faculty member, Dr. Faculty Member Menekçe Şahin Karadal has been assigned.

Again, within the scope of austerity measures, our permanent research assistant Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal has been assigned to the current Visual Communication Design Department to teach the Visual Communication Design First Semester course GİT0107 Introduction to Visual Communication Design.

As for the Agenda Item “Determination of Advisors”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci was nominated as the advisor of the 1st graders on a voluntary basis, and upon this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci was unanimously approved as the advisor of the 1st graders by the Visual Communication Design Department Faculty Members. Subsequently, the Department Board Decision was also approved by the Dean’s Office and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci was assigned as the advisor of the 1st graders of the Visual Communication Design Department.

Within the scope of Additional Item 1 of the Agenda Item, regarding the Horizontal Transfer and Adaptation Commission, among the names that were nominated voluntarily from among the Permanent Faculty Members of the Visual Communication Design Department for the said commission; Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, Dr. Lecturer Menekşe Şahin Karadal and Lecturer Reyhan Emel Aydın were deemed appropriate and assigned as departmental members of the relevant commission.

Regarding the agenda item, Intra-Institutional and Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer and Adaptation Commission, among the names that volunteered as candidates among the departmental faculty members for the said commission; Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, Dr. Lecturer Menekşe Şahin Karadal and Lecturer Reyhan Emel Aydın were deemed appropriate and assigned as departmental members of the relevant commission.
Regarding the agenda item, New Registration Adaptation Commission, among the names that volunteered as candidates among the departmental faculty members for the said commission; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuncay Erdem and Res. Asst. Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal were deemed appropriate and assigned by the departmental members of the relevant commission.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuncay Erdem and Res. Asst. Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal were deemed appropriate and assigned as department members of the relevant commission.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuncay Erdem and Instr. Reyhan Emel Aydın have been deemed appropriate and assigned as departmental members of the relevant commission.

Regarding the agenda item of the Course Schedule Preparation Commission, from among the tenured faculty members of the department, volunteer candidates; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci, Instr. Reyhan Emel Aydın and Res. Asst. Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal have been deemed appropriate and assigned as departmental members of the relevant commission.

Regarding the agenda item of the Exam Schedule Preparation Commission, from among the tenured faculty members of the department, volunteer candidates; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci, Instr. Reyhan Emel Aydın and Res. Asst. Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal was deemed appropriate as a section member of the relevant commission and was assigned to the task.
